Pray For Peace
Four suicide bombers struck in central London on Thursday 7 July, killing 52 people and injuring more than 770. The co-ordinated attacks hit the transport system as the morning rush hour drew to a close. Three bombs went off on underground trains just outside Liverpool Street and Edgware Road stations, and on another travelling between King's Cross and Russell Square. The final explosion was
around an hour later on a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square,
not far from King's Cross. In Memory of the 52 victims!
In God We Trust
O
God, our Help in Ages Past, our
Hope in Years To Be, Look
down upon this present and
see our need in Thee. For
in this day of unrest, with
danger all around, We
need Thy hand to lead us to
higher, safer ground. We
need thy help and counsel to
make us more aware That
our safety and security lie
solely in Thy care. And
as we fight for freedom make
our way and purpose clear And
in our hours of danger may
we feel Thy Presence near.
